Cleaned TCU...now stuck in 1st? any suggestions?
Ok...NOW, the battery seems drained. I think it might be getting overcharged and boiling over because there is a puddle of water around the battery. Do you think all of these problems are related? This is the first time this has happened.
the battery and charging system could be a different problem.
there is a voltage regulator inside the alternator to control the charging. if this regulator or the diode/s is faulty... then problem happens.
your battery is new? (less than 1 year)???

Well, it looks like the battery was defective. I replaced it and the power problem has gone away. I had the car scanned and about 12 errors showed...mainly transmission errors. The codes were cleared and the car is still in emergency mode. I guess its time to order a new TCU.
yep. seems cleaning it doesn't correct the problem anymore.
remember that the part number should match with the electrohydraulic valve body.

Right. Do you know if its still possible to get the 017 545 05 32 ECM so i would not have to get a new valve body also? Or do i have to get a 017 545 06 32 ECM and matching valve body?
i will need your VIN if you want to know about the right parts.
anyway, you must match that valve body and ETC so you won't have the 3 seconds engagement delay (from P to D).
