Default Intermittent no start, '97 E300D, 606 engine

Developed huge fuel leak at injection pump. Source was found to be the electronic fuel shut off device. That part was changed along with associated fuel lines (4 lines total). This solved the original problem, but now the vehicle has an intermittent starting problem. The glow system is working normally. The engine will start and die several times, then idle roughly for five to ten seconds and run great after that. The fuel feed pump was changed along with the main fuel filter. This did not help. Any ideas?

can you see air in the clear fuel lines fuel lines? if so you still have a fuel leak and its alowing air to get into the fuel system and not allowing the car to start intermittently
