Default Brake Pads 2002 E320

Is there a post or link that shows how to replace the front and rear brake pads on the 2002, E320, doesn't look too difficult but always helps to learn from those that have gone before. Thanks much for any replies.

Default RE: Brake Pads 2002 E320

This is my first post & I really learned a lot from this forum.

I have a 2000 E320 and just replaced the front disc pads. This is my first time to do it on an MB. I have done it on my other vehicles. You need to slide the caliper out of the rotor. There are 2 screws behind it with a black round plastic cover. I popped it out with a screw driver. You will need an allen wrench to loosen the screws away from the rotor. You also need to remove the wire on the outer pad.I used a C clamp to compress to piston with the old pad as backing. Apply an anti-squeal material to the pad and install the caliper & pad. I have not done the rear pads yet but it should be similar.

Any comments out there will be appreciated.
