Default Adding the Navigation System

I recently took over the lease on my dads 2007 Mercedes E350. He had no need for the navigation option, but I live in Chicago where it would be nice. Is a navigation DVD the only thing required or do I have to completely swap out the Radio/CD system? I am looking to see what the cost would be to add the navigation option to the vehicle. Thanks.

Does this car have the screen in the dash with all the menu buttons for the radio, phone, and navigation, but says nav not ready or install disc? I believe it does and the system will require a dvd reader for the nav and the nav disc...probably around $2-3K! Get a Tom-Tom!!!!

Check the trunk to see if you have the navigation system. It will be on the left, behind the side covering (turn the two *****/latches).
