My e320 idle's rough only when in drive @ a stop, same for when in Reverse @ a stop. The whole car vibrate bad, and that is the only time the car does this.

Any ideas????

 

probably just a small misfire going on. or a vacuum leak.

 

should my mechanics find that then? its in the shop today for new ac blower motor. Any thing I can tell him to help him? They told me the idle is controlled by computer. IS there some thing i can get to control that?

could be spark plugs, or wires, fuel, maybe try premium fuel and see if that helps the rough idle. maybe bad motor mounts too. idle is controlled by the computer but it can be a number of different things that could cause that.

 

it was the motor mounts and trans mount, now runs great !!
