About a week after getting the interior fan fixed, it stopped working. Then a very hot air was coming threw the vents.

I checked the fuses first and found the fan fuse blew. I replaced the fuse, but noticed the first few inches of the black plastic cover, on top of the engine over the manifold, melted. Some of the wires were burned and one was shorted. I taped them together with cloth electrical tape.

The car starts okay, but runs a little rough. What do these wire cables connect to? What could have caused this?
