2010 E350 Hockey Running lights - HELP

Recently I had a misfortune of a chair falling off a truck and hit by another car and the wooden leg wound up under my Passenger side bumper going about 25mph. It must have lodged under the bumper and tore the wiring from the Daytime Running Light (hockey style) Plug (male). It also pushed out the inner fender which (luckily) didn't damage it beside some plastic push rivets. I remounted the inner fender and trying to figure out which wire went to each side of the female light socket? Checking the voltage on the now partially exposed wires (2) I couldn't get a reading??? Is there a fuse located somewhere? The driver's side is working fine. I have 2 fuse boxes, 1 mounted in the engine bay (driver's side) and passenger side in the trunk. I have checked all the fuses (all are good) in both boxes. Am I missing something? No panel by dash on driver's side. OK > what should the voltage coming from those 2 wires? 12volt? or something less? Help? Don't want to check the light with 12 volt only to blow it? $125 replacement. Light wasn't damaged unless something broke when wires were yanked out?

Hello, As I understand you, You did not give quite enough information. Does the non damaged running light work? I do not have a wiring diagram to help you but what I can tell you is that bulb should be a 12 volt one. One wire should be a ground wire. The other should supply 12 volts . To assure yourself that you are going to connect the wires correctly I suggest that you take the puck off and take it in to a dealer and ask them to guide you. Every wire in a modern car carries a colour code. If you have zero voltage from either wire you may need to find a local journeyman mechanic to help you. Allan
