2010 E350 - Difference between "S" and "C" settings?
 

Folks,

I just purchased a 2010 E350.

This model has a convenient button labeled S and C to help you switch between sports mode and comfort mode of driving.

I have tried both the settings but I don't feel any difference in driving. What should I be looking for?

C is starting the transmission off in 2nd gear rather than 1st gear. less torque less tire spin, made for winter. car will shift smoother also. you wont notice any real differnce in driving at all, just minor difference during accelerating.

My E320 CDI shows a big difference in acceleration, responsiveness when I set it to S, I think that yours should also - if it is working properly. Maybe you should get it onto the MB diagnosis computer at the dealer
