2008 e350 Squeeking up front when going over bumps or pushing down front end
 

I recently bought an e350 4matic and it really is making a squeeking/ creaking sound EVERY time I go over and bumps or push down on the front of the car. Any ideas? Also, is there air shocks on the front of this car or standard shocks/springs? Thanks

Hi, I too had the squeeky sound over bumps and potholes. Solved it by pumping out the old power steering oil (black colored reservoir under engine cover on the right hand side) and replacing it. Still squeeked for another week but was much quieter. After a month of driving it has returned to its former self i.e. no noise. Hope this helps.

I would guess it is the control arm and/or sway bar bushings.
