2005 E500 426 Premium Package
 

I am about to purchase a 2005 E500 from a wholesale dealer....and the original sticker says this car has the 426 Premium Package (under the heading of "value added packages". Does anyone know what is included in this package?

Forget about option packages in a used car deal,not worth anything as far as the value goes.How many miles?Should not be more than 34G.

this 426 package had a dealer list of $3950.......and I think the items under this package are listed under Edmunds as options to determine the market value price. thanks again.

Forget market price,it is a good starting price to work up to,not down from.Are you a cash buyer?It is now a 3 year old car.the market will be flooded with them as the new trades get on the lots.Low ball him and make him turn,or e prepared to walk.You have options.Get it inspected.........

Cash buyer, this car is pretty loaded, immaculate condition, carfax states no problems....but haven't had it inspected. It is going into the dealer on Monday for a service package.....on the other guys nickel. Price is $35.6K. What do you think?

Have it inspected at a good shop of your choice,a clean carfax just means as far as they know,if work was done cash,not insurance claim it might not show up.inspect the frame,body etc. for signs of damage.If clean get him down to 35g and you have a fair deal.Inspect..................

BTw, one more thing. Do these cars require premium unleaded gas?
