2003 E320: Wood Grain Console
 

One of the two wood-grained console clips that open the console has broken off. It looks as if I could get another it would just snap in place. I can't find much info on somthing this small, so do any of you guys know a part number or where to order replacement?

Hello Jefferson, I ca'nt help you, but Ihope you may be able to help me getting off the middel console on the dashboard containing the climate control? I need to exchange the bulp giving back ground light for the temperature wheel etc.

I just got helped from the Danish Mercedes forum. I simply removed the actual knob (fan speed or air control) and behind thiese the bulb is located.

Go to an audio store,and ask for radio removal keys for a benz,,,they are about three or four inches long and you insert one on each side of the unit,,there is a small slit in the lower right and left corner You just slide them in and they will click,,,then put your fingers in the holes on the end of the keys and it will come right out,,,5 minutes

replacement bulb is a sylvania 2721 for about four dollars comes with two in the pack,,the unit only uses one bulb located on the bottom of the climate control,,,a little white,,plug like dude,,turn it one half turn,and it is spring loaded and will come right out then put new bulb in and turn to the right half turn and it will lock in,,,before putting the unit back in there is a button on each side of the climate control at the front you push in and pull the keys out,,the unit will slide back in and lock automatically,,,,takes 5 minutes if you have bad arthrisits haha
