2002 E320 Wagon
 

I am having trouble with the transmission on this Benz. I had a 1999 E320 wagon that had the same thing. Is this a habit with E320? The OBII shows PO 715, input Turbine Speed Sensor; PO 730 Gear ratio Incorrect. The 1999 showed only PO715.

I took the 1999 to the a shop for MBZ. The said it needed a new transmission, cat, axle, etc. $8.000.00!! I couldn't do that, so they paid me $ 500.00 and took the car. I think they screwed me.

I found the 2002 with 122,000 miles for what I thought was good price, $5,000.00. I have driven it 125 miles, and it is having problems. Check engine light came on and it shifts slow, and I don't think it gets out of third gear.

I WON"T take it to the same shop!!
