WellI have owned the2002 E320 Sportsince new and it just turned 70,000 miles. I have been very lucky wit my car and have not encountered any problems until today when i tried to put the suroof back. Every time i push the button it goes back like an inch and then i have to push it again to move it another inch. What is going on? Can someone help please?

Lubrication on the operating slides required.
Initially use a light oil / silicon spray to get the roof fully back so that you can gain access to the slides. Then use "appropriate" grease.
