2000 E320 window issue
 

my wife has a 2000 e320 4 matic. this has been a great car untill the last couple of days. the windows have teken it upon themselves to do crazy things the driver, and both rear windows go down when the car is started and often will not go back up again via the controls. sometimes if you wait several minuted they will start working again. and you can put them back up. this does not happen every time we start the car but is becoming more and more frequent. any ideas?

check under the rear seat and in the cavity where the battery resides. that also houses the
rear fuse cluster and the pse pump. it has been reported that when water has accumulated
within that area, it can cause strange anomalies which affect the electrical devices as well
the pump related appliances.

cause of water intrusion may be due to leak, or plugged drains from, e.g. roof, door, trunk,
etc related gaskets or drains....or hole from rust below
