Here goes

I have a 1999 E320. About a month ago my trunk would not open using the remote. I finally got it open using the key attached to the remote. After that the trunk seems to pop open on it's own fairly regularly. Sometimes when the car starts and sometimes right after I shut it, it just pops back open. Sometimes I can hear it clicking when I am standing next to the trunk. Then the other day I noticed/heard the small green and red lights under the headlight dial flicking on and off? Have no clue what to do.
