1999 E300D Glow Plug ChangeI NEED A REAMER TOOL AND ADVICE
I'm looking for the reamer tool and an explanation on how to use it correctly. I've seen some of these tools for sale, but they are kind of pricey. Anyone know a source for an inexpensive one? Or does anyone have one they don't need anymore and want to sell? This is the first time I've changed glow plugs and I'm looking for some detail on exactly what needs to be done when cleaning with the reamer.
Thanks

You can pass on the reamer if you soak the plugs in kroil for several hours on a warm engine before removal.Kroil at some napa or online at Kano labs.

take your time buy quality glow plugs and follow instructions.
you might want to ask over on benzworld.org member forum if anyone has one you can borrow if you really feel the neeed to ream.
