1995 w124 coupe - having problems with dash lights...?
 

Hi, I just purchsed my forst Mercedes - a nice 1995 w124 coupe - wanted one for years.... So far I love the car but I'm having a problem with the lights that are supposed to illuminate the dash & all switches when the headlights are on - they're not coming on when I turn the healights on. The first time it happened I took it to Motorwerks (great facility in Commerce twnshp) & they tested & changed the battery - they worked after that. Second time it happened, I didconnected the battery & reconnected it, initially it didn't work, though the next morning they came on again. Now it's happened again & its been a few days - still not coming on. Oh, the fuses are all ok.

Can anyone offer a suggestion to fix this issue? I'd really appreciate any help!
