1994 E420 Wont Start
Hi Everyone,
I was just looking at a 1994 E420 with a dead battery. We tried to jump it and the owner had hooked the battery up and put the negative directly on the battery. To make a long story short it never cranked up and I went to buy a new battery for it and once I put it in the lights and everything come on but the starter does not engage (not even a sound) so I opened the fuse panel and the fuse "C" was blown, which controls a bunch of things including the trunk light and the central locking system. I tried placing a new fuse in the spot and it blew instantly when I tried to put the fuse in.
Let me know if this makes any sense.
