Hello everyone!

I am new to the Mercedes world.. I have Mustangs and Camaros... so this is a new venture for me. One of my co-workers just gave me his 300E which was sitting for about a year saying he needed a new computer and didn't feel like looking for one.

My question to you..where would I find such a computer? I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with newer cars, all mine are from the 70's so no computers exist. He told me you'll be driving along and the fuel pump will decide to shut off and the car will stall...you pull over tap the computer and you're on your way.. He also said the computer is expensive, but hey it was a free car and in perfect condition otherwise, so heck i'll give it a shot.
