i am looking at a mercedes and the owner we are getting it from says that it needs premium gas, can we use just unleaded or surprime?

ya just a little less power but probly not even noticable

I've used premium in both my 91 190E 2.6 & my 02 E320 4MATIC for a long time. I've tried lower grades but was unhappy with the performance. To me, $0.25/gal is worth better mileage. Not to mention, MB recommends it.
Hey, by the way, I didn't know there was a 4MATIC made in 1991???
