1990 300e Transmission

About two weeks after I bought a 1990 300e with only 160,000 miles, suddenly and without warning, I had no forward gears. The reverse gear works, but not drive or the other lower gears. Is this a major problem? Is the transmission shot? What? Somebody help me; I have to get this car running--soon!

It seems like your transmission already burnout , your gona have to either replace or general overhaul it .
