I believe my temp sensor is bad this is a pic of the repacement I have been finding online. However the one I have has a darker green top and only two conectionports. Am I looking at the right sensor or am I cross referencing wrong?The one I located on the engine is on the back of the engine on top of the manifold. I just replaced that on my 1990 300e and it was black and 4 pronged so I don't know, although there are two, one green and one black...easiest way to find out is to look...my 4 pronger was $36...good luck...cliff

although it's not actually in the manifold, while adjacent it's actually in the cylinder head itself, at least on mine...be sure to use the teflon plumbers tape on the threads as well...cliff

 

Thanks Cliff, I'll Give it a try. I just don't know what to do with thethird port, I cannot tell if it shows a normally closed connection or a common.
