1987 300TD Rear Seats Won't Fold Down
[ul][*]I can't fold down the seats in my 1987 300TD. I have found the little knobs on each side (push? pull?), which apparently are supposed to release the seats, but they seem to have no effect. By judicious application of brute force, I was able to fold them down once, but I had to put them back up for a passenger. I'm afraid the brute force routine will damage either me or the car. Is there some trick that I am missing? If not, how can I repair the release mechanism?[/ul]
