1987 300E speaker sizes
 

Hey, im looking at replacing all of the speakers in my 1987 300E, does anyone know what sizes work best or how to access the speakers? I have been searching the web for some information on it and have not been able to come up with anything

HY. I have an '89 300e and I think that the speakers are the same. In front I have round speakers 4-1/2' and the back 5-1/2'. It's pretty easy to acces them. In the back you just lift the cover, put a little force, and the cover it's coaming out. I front there is a little plastic piece allong the cover of the speaker, about 1 inch wide. You just lift that with a screw driver and under thar are 2 screws. Take out the screws and lift the speaker. Let me know if there is anything else that you want to know.
