1987 260 E had it towed now won't start
 

I lost the keys to my 1987 Mercedes 260 E. I got replacement keys from the dealer and went to get it and now it won't start.

I did have it towed on a flatbed from where it happened to a friends house. I guess my question is: by towing car,,, could this have tripped some anti theft mechanism thus making the car not start?????
