124 Ser (1994 E320 Coupe) Plastic Door Panels
 

I am trying to remove the outside plastic body protection panels, which run along the bottom half of the wings and doors.
It it just a matter of pulling the bottoms edge away (brute force) and then sliding the panel backwards ?

Can anybody advise, before I do some expensive damage.
