does anyone know ifa V8 will fit into the engine bay of a '87 300E...I don't want to get rid of my car cause I love it so, but wouldn't mind changing things up a little bit


UPDATE: after using some different verbiage in google, I was able to find out that the base inline-6 engine is the only engine that will fit into this particular vehicle

 

ummmmm buy a v8 e420...you'd just be shooting your wallet repeatedly witha shotgun if you wanted to bore 8 liters.
