I have and 03 e500 that is giving SRS light on dash. I had the car scanned and shop said the passenger occupancy sensor was bad. I have read that this is common. How hard is the replacement and will the light go off after the new sensor is installed? Also is there somewhere besides dealership to get sensor?

 

anyone? just looking for a little help

 

got to remove the seat cushion,, then the leather, then the pad then the sensor, then clear the codes, its not an easy job. i would think the dealer only could supply that.
