Hi guys, Just got a new `06 CLS 500 and it has only 650 miles, but yesterday i noticed a noise in the engine like a hydraulic lifter tapping when you rev the engine, not at idle, i took it to the dealership and they toldme to drive the car for another 1000 miles and have it relook at because they said the engine is too tight and needs to loosen up and will recharge the lifters, it makes sense to me been a master tech, but i don`t work at a mercedes dealership,so i dont hear this stories, just wondering if anyone out there heard of this problem before. Thank you for your response in advance. Ricky.

it is correct that some of the noises pass when some mileage is put on the car. But you never know. Wait and see.
