The security alarm on my 04 clk 500 randomly activates on its own. I've tried hitting the lock/unlock button my my smartkey and nothing works! I've already contacted the MB dealership and they wont give me a price on how much the problem will cost me, only that my PS module may be shorted out and they will have to order the part and keep my car for a few days.. which means lots of money to fix! If i can unhook the alarm altoghether to stop this embarrassing, obnoxious, loud alarm from activating, please someone help me!!

 

REPLACE THE ALARM SIGNAL SIREN. IT PROABABLY HAS WATER IN IT.
