(pics) Is it okay to put 19s on my CLK 320 (W209)
Here are the pics of the wheels I'd like to put on my car. Would I have to get any other special equipment or anything? Thanks.

With correct offset and width, it will fit fine.

Thanks so much for responding. I don't know much about this yet... How do I know that it's the correct offset? The sales guy said the width would be about 8.5" for the back and 8" for the front. He said I'd have a staggered setup.

Wow, what a pretty car. Iwould say, the wheels are ok if you only drive the car on the week ends. If you drive your car every day to college or work, the roads will tear the wheels and tires down very quickly.
I'm so busy, my engine never cools down, so 19's would be a poor choice for me. My Clk is a family workhorse; We drive it to work, school, grocery store....and I actually keep maintenence and repair parts here in-stock to keep her rolling. We consider it to be a general-purpose vehicle like the lawn tractor, chipper, or weed eater. C |

Ohhhh I see. That makes alot of sense. Boy oh boy......I certainly do not want to go through sets of tires too quickly. Perhaps I'll just stay with 17s or so. Thank you for your reply!

[IMG][/IMG]...here are my 19's...remember, the pic you posted...that car has also been lowered...it will diminish ride quality somewhat..but I have had no trouble with wear as of yet...It rides nice, just watch for pot holes
