I have been trying to find some Mobil 1 0w-40 but can't find it or any european formual oil where I am currently located.

I know I am looking for ACEA A3/B3 oil spec but can only find 5w-30 ACEA: A1/B1 A5/B5 with API: SN, SM, SL, SJ specs. The API spec of SM/SL matches the Mercedes spec but the ACEA does not.

Not what I want to do but does anyone have any information on using non spec/non-european formula oil for this change period? I was smart enough to bring an OEM oil filter with me so I am fine on that regard.

Any good knowledge or advice would be great

 

How about posting WHERE YOU ARE LOCATED, that way someone might help you, BTW Wally world stocks 0-40..............................
