hi All

I buyed a 03 clk500 and just when i started loving it i noticed heating issue or may be not an issue.

i noticed the digital heat meter going all the way to 105 that is just one LED line below the 100 line.

however this only happens when engine is left to run in the garage idle. when i take it for a ride it

drops to 80 to 85 mark which doesnt worry me.

i did keep an eye out for the fans to start and the big fan actually starts at 105 but it doesnt spin very fast

to cool the engine, just spins very moderately. i checked coolant reservoir and it doesnt leak a drop, however i noticed

the coolant cap to be very easy to open, it just slides on and off without any pressure applied? Please help

this is causing me loose the love for my new car.
