Just Bought My First Mercedes
Hey everyone,
I just bought my first Mercedes yesterday. It is a 2004 CLK320 silver/black. I am happy with it because it has low miles (about 19k) and I bought a 4 yr warranty from G.E. with Wachovia. Anyway, I had a few questions about the car. First, the lugnuts are rusty. Ive heard this happening with ML's and E classes. Is this covered under warranty? If not, would my best bet be just to order them from the dealer anyway? Second, I was thinking about getting a tint on the car. Does anybody have pictures of their CLK with a tint? I had a 35% on my silver 3 series BMW, which is legal limit in Maryland, but I might get a 20%. I just dont want to ruin the car by getting too dark of a tint. What are other popular body modifications to the car, besides wheels? I have been driving an e46 most of my driving life and am pretty unfamiliar with Mercedes.
