Hey, I'm posting for a friend who has an early 2001 CLK that is idiling at almost red line rpms. The person she bought the car from refuses to do anything about it and says there is nothing wrong with the car. I know that is incorrect? What could be making the car idle that high? Transmission or timing belt issues?
