Hesitation when pulling away at lights
Hi guys and gals, hope one of you can help. I have had CLK230 komp for 15months now and it has always had a bit of a hesitation when setting off at lights, it is a six speed manual gearbox. Local dealer has serviced it and can't find anything. Specialist engine diagnostics firm has put it on their equipment and said the same. Have fitted new coils and plugs, no different. Took it to an indy merc garage and he has said that it is the clutch?!? The only other thing that I can say is that it misses a beat every 30 -40 seconds when stood at the lights ticking over.
I have looked at all the other threads but can't find any mention of this problem, the car now has 72k miles on it. I have done 15k since I bought it and apart from this it is an excellent car.
Hope someone can help, Shady

Hi MBZ300sdl,
maybe it's just in good ol' blighty that they supply them, I don't know. It does make it easy cruising though and economical with it. Shame about the hesitation though, but thanks for the reply.
