I have 2004 clk 320 coupe. Little problem, i can not get the trunk open. The key turns but the latch does not release. Trunk opened light comes on but the trunk is still fully closed. The switch to open the trunk have red light as like it was pressed in. Is there a trick that i am not aware of it? I would greatly appreciate any help.

maybe it's already open. give more force to lift it up.

close (till the indicator is off) and try again.
