Is it worth getting extended warranty on a Mercedes? It is about $2,678 for 4 years. I either want a 2006 CLK 55 AMG or a C230 2001...lastly, does anyone have a preference for the C230 or CLK 55 AMG?

I purchased extended warranty on my SLK 500 and never had any problems with it until right after the warranty ended so I am reluctant to get warranty.

 

I would go with a mercedes warranty. some parts on a benz can be 1000 dollars alone. and ive seen so many people who go out of warranty and then BANG, problems with suspension or electronics. and they have no warranty.
