Hi - I just registered here recently and have been trolling the Benz forums, first post. I purchased an 04 CLK320 last week (my first Benz).

Anyhow, I'm looking to order some wheels and am wondering if the offsets will work.

19 x 8.5 ET38 235/35/19 front - Tires (Falken FK452's, also thinking about Dunlop SP SportMaxx)
19 x 9.5 ET40 265/30/19 rear - Tires (same as above, I'm wopen to suggestions on tires too btw)

I'm a wheel noob and have read that the recommended offsets for the Benz wheels would be somewhere in the 35-38 range.

I have stock brakes currently
I do plan on lowering the car (probably with springs) sometime in the future.
I prefer the tire to overhang the wheel lip slightly

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
