CLK won't move
Hi, bit of a problem with my 55 plate CLK 320 CDi. Basically it won't move! The ABS warning light has come on out of nowhere and I can't engage any gear (auto). Was fine at lunchtime but come teatime it's decided it doesn't want to move an inch. Have tried disconnecting battery to no avail, any ideas how I could at least get it moving to put it away?
on my w208 chassis it did this, it was the brake peddle switch, it does alot more than work the brake lights. There only cheap and take five mins to swap and its a common fault.
I wounder if your car is the same as mine in that at the bottom of the gear stick shift pattern theres a little flap that you can push a pen into and it releases the gear shifter lock so you can put it in N and start the car.
