CLK W209 ESP fault
Took the battery off today so I could remove the airbag and fit a new indicator combination switch, all went ok.
However when I took the car for a run the message "ESP malfunction take to workshop" came up.
I have an OBD2 diagnostic reader which I used to get the code "ESP volatage overload"
I cleared the code and all again was ok until I took it for a run, then the initial message returned.
Could this be because a fuse has blown or is there an initialisation process to go through with the ESP after the battery is disconnected?
