I Have a new clk 320 it has an annoying knocking from the back of the soft top has any one out there got the some proplem please reply

 

just turn your stereo louder so the noise won't annoy you.

Many thanks for the images regarding my roof rattle. I have not had chance to look at the website for ages and I still have to get the MB dealer to check out the problem.

I have the same problem, it actually became apparent after the car had done about 11000 kms.
I thought it was perhaps the rubber sealing rubbing together, I live in Singapore so the heat could have caused friction.
The seals were all lubricated, it did solve some of the annoying squeeks, but not the incessant knock from the rear.
Now I have read the possible cure I will take the car to the local Mercedes workshop.
One thing I notice is that the cure seems to be for the 208 model, will this appl;y to the 209 model?
