Bonnet badge fitting (spring loaded)
 

Hi everyone,

First time poster, long time owner.

A few weeks ago some punk kid pulled my star off the front of my 1999 CLK 200, sending the spring one way and my foot in another.

I've just received a brand new replacement. It has a 'V' shaped clip below the circular badge face with a plasctic edge on either 'V' tip. The 'V' twists (just). I'm a little afeared of fiddling with spring loaded clips so my question is: How does one go about fitting these badges?

its ok not bad man its a mettr of slot and twist the clip clock wise ,the spring is gonna shot out,sprigs for the flex of the star....
