I just bought a 2004 CLK 320 with 20,000 miles on it and already the check engine light was on due to a "leak" in the gas filler ($800 for smoke testing and repair) AND the electric trans was slipping ($1200 repair and verification of ownership needed). What else is going to go wrong. I have bought upscale (MB, Porsche, etc.) for years with low mileage and never have I seen this kind of breakdown from upscale.
