Default 2004 CLK320 Headrest Problems

Hi- I just noticed that the driver's side headrest for my CLK320 does not lower in height to the same height as the passenger's side. However it does lower automatically all the way down like the passenger side headrest when lifting the seat forward to let in rear passengers...It is still ~4" higher than the passenger headrest despite my lowering it all the way down.
Has anyone had similar problems, is this normal? Thanks for your insights

Default RE: 2004 CLK320 Headrest Problems

I thought I was alone! The driver's side headrest only goes up, but doesn't go down, so now I am left with the headrest nearly touching the roof. The big problem is, it is very difficult to fold the seat down to allow
someone to enter the rear from the driver's side. The thing is though every time I send it to Mercedes to get it checked, it works! The car is so erratic in its behaviour it's killing me, as sometimes things work,
and sometimes they don't. On top of that, the extremely arrogant nature of the Benz dealers don't help. They need to understand, they just work for Mercedes not own it, so they do need to provide a service
once in a while like they are payed to.

Other electronic problems also exist but i'll save that for whoever is interested!
