2004 clk 240 Cruise Control
 

Hi Everyone,
I wonder if any one can help,the cruise control does not activate when stalk is pressed nothing at all. The ESP not available also comes on the message dial.

I have to also point out the the car does only 1000m per year and when it does go out after a few stops/ starts etc the ESP fault does seem to go off but still no cruise control but after the car has been parked up the ESP fault returns.

The owners manual states that the ESP fault can be related to a voltage problem. It has a new Bosch battery fitted which was top of the range for this car.

Appreciate any advice of help on this.
