Hi guys im from Australia and have a 2001 CLK430 Avantgarde. Might sound like a stupid question but im starting to wonder if it has a alarm or not.
When i lock and unlock the car, the lights just flash but no sound. Have tried locking the car with window down and then open the door from inside and no alarm sounds or lights flash.
Have checked all fuses and there all there and working.
Is there anyway to check if i actaully have the alarm installed ? does anyone know the location of the alarm module or siren on my car to check ? and if it is there, what could the problem be ?
it does not have motion sensor or tow away buttons on the console.

you need an alarm siren thats it. located behind one of the front wheels in the wheel well liner
