2000 Mercedes CLK 230 Kompressor Cabriolet
 

I have a 2000 Mercedes CLK 230 Kompressor Cabriolet 105K miles. My problem is that when I turn the ignition key on position 2 (position 3 starts the car) the Alternator/Battery warning light comes on my LCD. Well when that happens all my lights, the radio, A/C go on and off. The power windows and soft top won't work. I have recently change my battery and put new alternator. I don't understand what is going wrong. Could you please help?
