2000 clk 430 will not start please help
I just bought a 2000 clk 430 and it is having some problems. I was told it was the alarm disengaging the gas line. I thought that was true but the car is doing this without having the alarm on. I will leave the car then it when I go to start it the engine is cranking but will not start. It sounds like no gas is getting to it. This normaly will start 10-30min later but as of tonight it still will not start. I am not a car guy but I just want to know if this is because of the alarm? How to fix it? And/or if I can turn the alarm off permanently?
Thanks.
Thanks.
This may have nothing to do with your alarm system.
Replace the CPS crankshaft position sensor. When faulty, it will not give out any signal unless it cools down a little then it will work again as nothing ever happened.
There is many threads with this problem procedure how to replace it in E and M-class forum.
