Hi everyone. I just purchased a 2000 CLK-430. I recently found a few things wrong with it. I wanted to know if theres a method to find out certain codes in the engine. For example with BMW, you can press the gas pedal 5 times and it releases some engine codes that are wrong. The Mercedes has 4 engine malfunctions right now and I was gonna check them out myself. I'm also having problems with the brake lights, they aren't turning on. On the radio it's asking for a code. I don't see the cd changer anywhere. There are some things I'm gonna have to figure out myself.

 

it's called cash.. lol lots of it.. just don't take it to the dealer take it to a german motors type place that specializes in benz's... the cd changer is in the trunk (pass. side) These cars are a lot of up keep but everything in this car seems to be made very well. (well cup holder is kinda flimzy).. oh you are asking about the codes? just go to the malfunctions screen or when you turn in on and on the left hand side of the stearing wheel do the up arrow and you will see everything.. one might be just cause washer fluid is low or something minor..
